Job Description
We are pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of a Maintenace Supervisor within Westgate shopping mall. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below;
Brief Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and collaborating with all other departmental heads,the position holder will be responsible for performing crucial duties including but not limited to the following;
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of electricians, plumbers, HVAC/AC technicians, and general maintenance staff.
• Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure efficient operation of all building systems.
• Ensure timely repair and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply,drainage, and other facility infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure prompt resolution.
• Monitor the performance of maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Maintain maintenance records, work schedules, and equipment service logs.
• Oversee testing and maintenance of generators, pumps, air conditioning systems, and other critical equipment.
• Support tenant fit-outs and renovations by ensuring compliance with building standards and safety requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Requirement
•Higher National Diploma (HND), or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generator, and building maintenance systems.
• Good understanding of OSHA 2007, workplace safety requirements, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in a commercial building, shopping mall, hotel, or similar environment will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generator, and building maintenance systems.
• Good understanding of OSHA 2007, workplace safety requirements, and maintenance best practices.
